Camp Create

Camp Create is a 4-day event for kids to experience personal and spiritual growth in creative, fun, and exciting ways. We have made it our goal that Camp Create will be a time each summer for kids to learn to develop creative skills that will inspire them to serve in their community, express their identity in God, and develop spiritually.

General Information

  • Join us Summer 2025 at National Park Church. Camp Create is FREE!

  • Performance Night is at Hot Springs Junior Academy.

  • Your child may participate if they are going into Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th grade.

  • Children going into 5th & 6th will be a part of Camp Create GO! This allows our older kids to create but also give back to their community.

Helpful Tips

  1. Please send your child to camp in clothes that may get dirty. We have lots of fun and may get messy!

  2. Every morning you will check your child in AND out with their group leaders.

  3. We are very conscious of the snacks we prepare for the children and keep food allergies in mind. However, if you feel more comfortable to pack your child a snack, bring it labeled and give to the volunteers in the kitchen.

  4. Your child will receive a t-shirt at no cost. We ask they wear their shirt to the Thursday night performance.

  5. Every year we choose a non-profit to help. If your family feels led to contribute financially or physically, we truly appreciate it. In the past we have stocked the ACE pantry at Lakeside and donated gently-used stuffed animals to school counselors for kids who need comfort, just to name a couple.

Would you like to be a volunteer?

If you would like to apply to be a volunteer with Camp Create, please fill out the form and someone from our team will be in touch! Our volunteers are the heartbeat of Camp and everyone has a purpose! Some areas to consider are: snacks, group leader, teaching or assisting in Explore, or assisting with drama or art. If you cannot serve during camp hours, we are always looking for volunteers who can help with prep-work for art projects.

If you are asked to volunteer, you will be required to attend our Camp Create Boot Camp that takes place the Sunday before Camp begins. We eat lunch together immediately after worship service and then discuss what's expected during the week. Some finishing touches may be required following the meeting.
